Sekai Project Launch Raider's Sphere 4th Into Early Access

This marks their first non-visual novel release!

Originally released in December of 2013 in Japan by the doujin circle, Rectangle, Sekai Project recently picked up Raider's Sphere 4th, just today putting it into Steam Early Access. This marks their first non-visual novel localization and it will be interesting to see how it goes. This game, in particular, is an Ace Combat-like, arcade-style flight combat game. In it, Venus has become habitable and political intrigue brews as a young pilot attempts to find her father. Basically all I needed to know to be interested in it, myself, was that it was a "sci-fi Ace Combat."

The game is up for $19.99 currently and they have put it into Early Access to give it some more time to brew as they check if any engine bugs have been created in the move to English. Also, the multiplayer component isn't complete yet and they are looking into Steam Workshop support, which could potentially be awesome. Everything else is said to be fully playable, however.

    • There aren't any details yet because they're still looking into it but I'd kill for a mech mod.
